Embassy Suites Omaha (Downtown/Old Market) – Within walking distance to Old Market, Capital District, and the RiverFront, and the best hotel near the zoo.

There are several chain restaurants in Omaha that have great service and food. recommended bringing some patience with you: “If you decide on going to Vidlak’s go early or you’ll have a wait time to a table……trust me it’s worth the wait!” Vidlak’s Brookside Café, 15668 W. both recommended Vidlak’s for breakfast, with Julie recommending the cinnamon rolls. and 17070 Wright Plaza (second location closed) Vidlak’s Brookside Café Still, the downtown location of Upstream Brewery serves a great breakfast, and if you time it right, you can sit outside and watch the Saturday morning farmers market shoppers while sipping your mimosa. recommended Upstream Brewery for its brunch buffet, which sadly, in 2017, the location with the wonderful brunch buffet has closed. Word is, the new owners of the restaurant haven’t improved it. Gaby actually recommended a couple, but The Diner is her first choice. The Diner/Billy Frogg’s Grill & Bar, 1120 Howard St. recommended this Old Market greasy spoon.
